What topics are covered?

Introduction to Sport Psychology Tools Part 1

No. 1 Delivered Workshop
This workshop brings it back to sport psychology basics. This workshop is like having your own personal sport psychology 1 to 1 consultation. This provides the attendee with a clear insight into achieving clear and motivational goals with a growth mindset.

Introduction to Sport Psychology Tools Part 2

There is a large range of practical and basic sport psychology tools that sporting people are not aware of or aware of how to implement. This workshop follows on from workshop 1 with jammed packed information on how to reduce negative thinking, building confidence and growth around performance.

Effective Goal Setting

As a Sport Psychologist, it always amazes me the lack of knowledge around effective goals setting. There is so many errors that are made when setting goals and in turn this can lead to lack of confidence, motivation, guilt, or poor communication in teams. This workshop provides evidence-based principles to help build confidence and motivation in setting attainable goals and importantly connecting with the emotional aspects to enhance performance.

The Power of Imagery

Imagery is a psychological technique which has demonstrated its effectiveness in sport through positively affecting psychological states, such as decreasing anxiety and enhancing self-confidence, self-efficacy and concentration. Imagery can help athletes to stay confident, focused and mentally tough.
BONUS: A recorded tailored imagery script to suit your team needs will also be provided as part of this workshop.

This course is designed for anyone who is interested in understanding the power of the mind in sport. It will be of particular interest to anyone who wants to gain an insight into what psychological tools and techniques they can use to enhance their performance. All workshops are based on an introductory to sport psychology level.
